A wide range of minor and major skeletal and dental irregularities, including the misalignment of jaws and teeth and conditions of the jaw and face related to structure, growth, sleep apnea,TMJ disorders, malocclusion problems that leads to skeletal disharmonies, or other orthodontic problems that cannot be easily treated with braces are corrected by performing Orthognathic surgery and it is also called as corrective jaw surgery or simply jaw surgery.
And is performed by Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, which in turn results in improved chewing, speaking and breathing.
